Au Pair in the South of France
Pebbles France is currently recruiting Au Pairs for host families on the Côte d'Azur. We have families from Nice to St Tropez looking for native English Au Pairs for short or long term placements.
WHY BE AN AU PAIR?
Becoming an Au Pair can be an enriching experience, providing you with cultural and linguistic experience. It allows you to experience a total emersion in the country that you are visiting. Living with a family is one of the best ways to learn a language without having to spend a fortune. Given the difficulties for finding work that gradutes are experiencing at the moment, it's also a good experience to add to your cv.
As an Au Pair you will be in charge of looking after the children and taking care of some household duties. Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge and a weekly allowance 80€.
WHO CAN APPLY
In order to apply an Au Pair you must have the following:
• British or Irish Nationality
• Some basic knowledge of French (optional)
• Some experience with children and/or teaching
• Be aged 18-27

How much will this cost?
This is a free service to Au Pairs, you just need to cover your travel, insurance and French lessons.
What destinations are possible?
We specialise placing Au Pairs in the South of France but we can arrange short or long term placements all over Europe. In France, our families are based on the Côte d'Azur from Monaco to St Tropez including Cannes, Nice, Antibes and Mougins.
How far will I be placed from the main town?
Applicants should be aware that not all of the families we offer placements with are centrally located. It is therefore advised that applicants are willing to drive unless otherwise stated in their application.
How will I be paid?
Au Pairs are paid in Cash at the end of the week.
When can I be an Au Pair?
Au Pairs usually work for the summer months or for the school year.
How many Hours will I work per week?
You will work between 30-35 hours per week.
How much free time will I get?
You will have 2 days off per week to explore the sites and take part in any cultural activities.
What duties will I be expected to do?
The duties that are expected of you will involve various things from dressing / bathing the children, preparing simple meals, babysitting and helping with homework. You may also be expected to undertake light housework duties including washing, cleaning and ironing.
Can I use the host Family’s phone?
Most families have unlimited internet access and calls to European landlines.
